Girls worshiping God for us at the Dorothy House Aug 12, 2012

Will have this image burned in my mind for a long time. The Dorothy house. 18 girls. Scared and trying to trust. Needing nothing more than love and a chance for a better life. God has protected them this far but what will happen later for them. I will never forget Bridget she didn’t want to let go of my hand.

Back From A Long Hiatus

Sorry it’s been so long since my last post. I will upload some pictures from Africa shortly. I have to do it on my Mac. I’m now going to school at King’s University Fontana Campus and am really excited about that. God is maneuvering in strange ways right now and I will remain patient.

We were able to give 3 more laptops to the rest of the Kenyan Families at the ELI Kipkaren orphanage. I’m looking forward to doing more in the future.

Finances are tight but God always provides.

I will post a picture or two from my new project studio…

Navigating Logos software is getting more intuitive. It’s still tedium switching from book searches to topic searches but now I’m beginning to understand the programmers’ flowchart so it’s finally making more sense to me. I wish that the individual books weren’t so costly. Most of them are 1/3 the price on Amazon Kindle site…. not as much true integration as touted so not worth the extra 2/3rds in my opinion. Rather save the money for something else to benefit the Kingdom.

Love, Peace, and Souls! 🙂

tq

Hello family and friends,

As most of you know God has called me to full time ministry. As part of my calling He has been developing me in various areas: music, worship, stewardship, teaching, preaching, leading, and missions. I’ve been all over North America blessing and using my various gifts for God. I also have, as Pastor Dan puts it, an alms giver’s heart but now even that’s being stretched and extended into the realm of overseas missions.

I currently have the opportunity to go to Kenya (without my wife this time) with a small team to the Kipkaren Orphanage. The trip is from August 9th – August 23rd. We will be teaching the children many things including Christian ethics and God’s empowerment. I really do need your prayers for the two weeks in August I will be there. I need prayer for continued for health, finances, but especially for the need to bless the children with the teaching that will enhance their wisdom and development. I need that rhema word that will bless and mature them. This is not a vacation or sight seeing trip but an opportunity to grow and become a better leader and pastor.

I would also like to give you the opportunity to sow financially into this quest. I really had a hard time putting this letter together. I should have had it done a month ago but I have difficulty mentioning money in these rough economic times. The truth is that I will have to cancel my trip without financial help. I’m already doing fundraising and self sacrifice but I don’t have the 3000 dollars it will take to get there and back for those two and a half weeks. I don’t expect anyone to give even close to the full amount to help me, but drops in a bucket will eventually add up to fill it. 50 dollars, 20 dollars, 10 dollars, and even 5 dollars will help get the bucket full.

My church has set up an account for me so your donations can even be tax deductible if you’d like. All you have to do is send a check or money order (cash if you’re daring) to our church like this:

Water of Life Community Church

Attn: Global Outreach Dept

7623 East Ave

Fontana CA 92336

Please annotate: Kenya 1 Team – Todd Lynch

And it will be credited to my mission account.

And… if you can’t do anything your prayers are much appreciated!

Thank you so much for reading this.

Blessings

Todd Q Lynch

My sister thought I should add a PayPal donation link so here it goes:

Finally got the domain stuff sorted out

Transferring domains can often be a pain. This was no different. Got everything on one host with all of the names pointing to the right nameservers. I was being hosted on office live which is now being changed to office 360 with more fees and less actual web functionality, but I digress. In the next few days, after I finish a big project that has a short turnaround, I will begin to post everything I’ve learned about sequencing in the forms of video clips, mp3 examples, and text. Hopefully we all will be able to share information with each other. There’s no reason to keep it all to ourselves.

Here’s looking forward to building new musical and spiritual relationships!
